Why HSAUSA Exhibited at a Cannabis Show
In November, our HSAUSA team exhibited at its first-ever Cannabis trade show: MJBIZCON (Marijuana Business Conference and Cannabis Expo).
We decided to exhibit because our Cannabis packaging video attracted a ton of foot traffic at the PACK EXPO Chicago show. Visitors were impressed with our featured equipment, and many asked if we were going to “MJBIZCON.” Though we have heard of the Number 1 Global cannabis industry event, we did not plan on attending or exhibiting. The show was in Las Vegas, and if we were ever going to bet on our equipment, that was the place to do it. So our President, Ken Darrow, purchased booth space, and fortunately, that gamble paid off; we had a great show!
What We Brought to MJBIZCON 2022:
VFS-1000: Vertical Feeding System
The VFS-1000 Vertical Feeding System was designed for zippered pouch feeding and bag feeding, that have long been an issue to run on traditional methods.
The system allows for pouch labeling. Stand-up pouches and bags are stood on the edge, picked and placed onto a shuttle table, then pushed onto the downstream conveyor for printing or pouch labeling. Pouches and bags are aligned as they are pushed onto the receiving conveyor.
ALRITMA X High-Speed Label Applicator
The ALRITMA X is a high-speed self-adhesive label applicator that is distributed by Dartronics, Inc. It was attached to one of the VFS-1000s showcasing its extraordinary capacity, endurance, precision, and speed.
The ALRITMA X is well adapted to large workloads, such as on rotary labelers, particularly in applications using printers/markers with their checking devices.
ELF-50 Tabletop Wrap-Around Labeling Machine.
The ELF-50 is distributed by Dartronics, Inc and is the best portable tabletop labeler for CBD containers. The ELF-50 is easy to move, so you can set it up exactly where you want.
For example, it can be positioned on a tabletop or bench or moved in-line for automatic or semi-automatic applications – a convenience not found with heavier, more elaborate labeling machines.
