Ever since we started selling JR-001 solvent-based ink, the number of cartridges we sell is amazing. Finally, an ink that dries fast and sticks to most substrates. For the longest time, there were only water-based inks and nothing that dried fast or stuck too hard to print on substrates. JR-001 ink is the answer.

This JR-001 ink comes in an HP45 Si cartridge and works in all our HP based printers. Yes you have to change the voltage and pulse width, but that is fairly easy to do. We not only offer this in black ink, but we now have colors, white, yellow, red and blue. The ink has a rather short shelf life of about 4 months so you must be careful not to order more than you will use. The decap is about 1 hour, “amount of time to stay open without drying in the nozzle”.

The ink prints dark and has a very sharp contrast. The optical density is amazing. When cleaning the cartridge, remember to use a lint free wipe and no water. When storing the cartridge, remember to put back the storage clip. The cartridge can be left open overnight, but for anytime longer than one night it is recommended to put the storage clip on. The cartridge is filled with 42ml of ink and currently not available in bulk.

This JR-001 solvent based ink has truly changed the game for a lot of applications and is becoming more and more widely accepted in the industry replacing more expensive CIJ printers. Now you can have a new printer with the change of a cartridge. No need to call for service or have lengthy down time. Just replace the ink cartridge and you are back up and running.
